Assessment of personality, psychopathology and clinical disorders in adolescents
(MACI-IV)
The Millon Clinical Inventory for Adolescents-II (MACI-II) is a psychological test intended to assess personality, psychopathology, and clinical disorders/syndromes in adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18 years.
Regarding the usefulness of the MACI-II in psychological assessment contexts, the following are highlighted:
✅ Patients and families interested in planning mental health/psychotherapy treatment for adolescents.
✅ In cases of poor academic performance, the assessment of personality and clinical disorders can be a differentiating and important element to highlight. Reasons? It would allow us to understand the emotional and behavioral responses of the adolescent in situations where he or she is experiencing academic problems. For this reason, it can be a valuable element when proposing to families and schools recommendations tailored to the personality profile of each adolescent evaluated.
The Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory-II (MACI-II) is a psychological test that may be useful in patients with suspected or history of the following clinical disorders:
✅ Binge eating
✅ Suspected substance abuse
✅ Predisposition to crime
✅ States of anxiety and/or depression
