Frequently Asked Questions

Here we answer some common questions...

At Neuropsyedu, we start from a core premise: better understanding allows for better support. Our approach is based on biopsychosocial model, meaning we are not limited to delivering a diagnosis or merely assessing the presence or absence of a condition. We value the person as a whole, analyzing each case from different levels: their neurodevelopmental history, family context, culture, sociodemographic background, lifestyle, and sleep hygiene. We evaluate with scientific rigor to objectively identify the capacities, strengths, and opportunities for improvement within the cognitive and behavioral profile. We then translate these findings into clear, practical information. All of this is framed within a person- and family-centered care model. We respect the individuality, self-determination, and specific needs of each client, making them an active participant in decision-making regarding their own mental health process. In this way, we propose evidence-based recommendations and strategies that empower them to reach their maximum potential hand-in-hand with their support network.

Our process is designed to provide you with clarity, structure, and support from the very first contact. You can expect a care pathway based on three key stages: Accompany: We provide a safe and professional environment where you can raise your concerns and begin the process with complete confidence and openness. Guide: We conduct the evaluation or intervention and translate complex neuropsychological data into clear, logical, and understandable explanations. Collaborate in decision-making: We work alongside you and your support network (family, school, or therapists) to plan strategies that empower you to make informed decisions and build a sustainable path toward well-being and skill development.

The first step is to contact us. We encourage you to reach out by writing or calling us at +507 6535 6362 so you can explain your needs and who the appointment is for, allowing us to provide you with personalized initial attention. This way, we can share a detailed quote and give you full clarity on how we will support you through this process. Following this contact, to offer you the best professional experience and formalize your booking, we will send you an initial interview form and a terms and conditions document. It is important that you complete the form, sign the agreement, send this documentation to us prior to your appointment, and make the first split payment as a requirement to officially reserve your space.

A medical or school referral is not required to schedule an initial consultation. You can contact us directly to arrange an initial evaluation appointment.

At Neuropsyedu, we aim to provide you with practical and secure options. Our payment methods include local bank transfers (ACH) within Panama and the Yappy Comercial app (you can find us in the Yappy Commercial Directory as @Neuropsyedu). We also accept Visa debit and credit cards, both for clients residing in Panama and international clients interested in acquiring our services. If you prefer to use your card, we kindly ask that you request this option in advance so our team can generate a secure payment link for your convenience.

Yes, we provide structured options to assist with your planning, depending on the service: Evaluation packages: We offer the option of 4 split payments for transactions made via ACH or Yappy. If you prefer to use a debit or credit card, the evaluation can be arranged into 2 split payments. Therapy and intervention packages: The payment schedule is arranged on a bi-weekly basis. These are scheduled for the 15th and 30th of each month (for February, the payment would be made on the 28th).
